Umpire Training Events in the Chicago Area

Number one umpire training events is the clinic. This is your chance to introduce yourself and network with umpires, associations and Chicago area baseball assignors – UMPS.

  1. Attend the Chicago Area Umpire Clinic Register Now
  2. Fill out the umpire interest form
  3. Get IHSA certification (use the clinic, join an association, pass the IHSA test).
  4. Talk with your UMPS assignors and get your gear ready (ask about buying gear at the clinic – there will also be a vendor there to sell you the proper equipment. ASK QUESTIONS so you don’t buy the wrong or unnecessary equipment.
